We understand that you are going through a challenging time in your marriage and that you desire God's intervention. Firstly, it is important to pray and seek God's will together in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" Romans 10:13 WEB.
However, let us address the issues first. We should not ask for God to force change on another person. It is wrong for us to ask Him to make your husband love you. That is not in alignment with scripture. The bible is very clear that God gave us free will. It is he that must make that choice.
Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, and it should be honored and cherished. The Bible tells us, "Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." Mark 10:9 WEB. It is clear that there is a third party involved and this should not be. As a married woman, spending romantic time with another individual is committing adultery. It is a sin and should be stopped and repented of immediately. Turn from this sin, "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins," Hebrews 10:26 WEB.
Now, let us pray together for your marriage:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will and intervention in Bhoothur's marriage. Lord, You know the struggles and challenges they are facing. We pray that You would restore their marriage and bring back the love they once shared. We believe in the power of love that Jesus spoke about in John 13:34 "How I have loved you, that you also love one another." Help them to renew their commitment to each other and to You.
Lord, we ask that You would remove any third party influences that are causing division and harm to their marriage. We pray for healing and forgiveness. There must be repentance for the adultery. We pray for the strength and guidance to take the steps necessary for reconciliation. They need to have godly counseling together to help heal their marriage. We pray for the conviction to do so.
We cover their marriage with the precious blood of Jesus, may that fence of protection lock them together in unity. Help them to be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, and remember that God is faithful. "Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23 WEB. Trust in Him, and seek His will for your marriage. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and support from your local church or a trusted Christian mentor. Join a church that is bible believing and teaching. It is important to be in fellowship with other Christians. They can provide the love, support and encouragement that you need.
