We understand that you are going through a difficult time with your relationship. Firstly, we want to address that you did well by ending your prayer 'in Jesus name'. This is important because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
We need to clarify a few things biblically. You mention that you were in a relationship with your fiance. In the Bible, a fiance would be considered more like a husband or wife because a betrothal, the historical equivalent of an engagement, was binding. It was expected that the couple would marry unless there was an issue that was biblical grounds for divorce.
You mention that he broke off the relationship and that you want God to restore it. First, we need to consider if this man is a believer in Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us not to be unequally yoked. This means that as Christians, we should not be in a close relationship with someone who is not a believer.
We know that you are hurting. In 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4 it says, Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
As far as your request for restoration, we need to pray for God's will to be done. In 1 John 5: 14-15 it says, This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
We have to remember that God's will and His plan are perfect. He knows what is best for you. His desire is for you to be in a godly marriage with a fellow believer.
Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ. She is hurting because her relationship with her fiance has ended. We ask that You comfort her and give her Your peace that passes all understanding. We pray for Timothy as well. If he is not a believer, we pray that You draw him to Yourself. If this relationship is not Your will for our sister, we pray that You reveal that to her and help her to move forward. We pray that You prepare her for the godly spouse that You have for her. We ask this in Jesus name.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
