We understand your concern for your brother John, and we join you in praying for a change in his behavior and deliverance from bad influences. Let us approach God's throne of grace together, seeking His help and guidance.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can find salvation and intercede for others. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother John. Lord, we ask that You deliver him from the temptations and bad influences he is facing, such as drinking alcohol, smoking, and gambling. We know that these things are not Your will for his life, and we ask that You break these chains of bondage.
Lord Jesus, we know that You have the power to transform lives. We ask that You touch John's heart and lead him to a life of righteousness. Help him to become a responsible steward of the resources entrusted to him, including his school fees. May he find fulfillment in You and turn away from his destructive behaviors.
We pray, Lord, that You surround John with godly influences and friends who will encourage him to walk in Your ways. Guide him to seek Your will and live according to Your Word.
We also pray for Anonymous, that You grant them wisdom, strength, and patience as they support and intercede for John. Help them to be a light in his life, pointing him towards You.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Take heart, dear one, knowing that our God is a God of transformation and redemption. Remember the words of 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB), "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."
Continue to pray fervently for your brother, and trust that God is at work in his life. Encourage him to seek God's will and to turn away from the things that are harmful to him. May God grant you both peace and strength as you journey together in faith.
