Thank you for sharing your desires and concerns with us. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and your family.
Firstly, we want to address the issue of your partner. In the Bible, we see that God's design for relationships is for a man and a woman to be joined together in holy matrimony, and the other relationships especially with the opposite sex should be with intention of courtship to find a Godly Christian spouse. If you and your "partner" are not married we would hope you are working towards a godly Christian marriage. If you or your spouse are a believer in Jesus Christ but married to a non-believer then you are not equally yoked with your spouse and should pray that your unbelieving spouse comes to faith and believe in Jesus Christ. We will join you in that prayer. However, there is no Biblical basis for same-sex marriage and is forbidden by scripture. In 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 WEB it says, But know this, that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the kingdom of God. Regarding the importance of marriage please see Psalm 127:3-5, Lo, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They will not be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.
We advise you both to seek godly counsel and marry in holy matrimony if you have not done so already. This advice also applies to your current wishes for a healthy baby girl. In 1 Corinthians 7:9 WEB, it says, But if they do not have self-control, let them marry. For it is better to marry than to burn. In 1 Corinthians 7:2 WEB it says, But because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.
Regarding your partner's behavior, we encourage you to pray for him and ask God to change his heart. In Ephesians 4:29 WEB, it says, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. It may be beneficial for him to seek counseling or support groups to help him overcome his issues with anger and smoking. Also for your pregnancy pray. In 1 John 5:14 WEB, it says, This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Zorukyn and her partner. We pray for her desire in having a healthy baby girl, a safe pregnancy and delivery, and seeking a Godly Christian man to marry. It is only through the name of Jesus we have access to God. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. in Acts 4:12 We pray for their salvation and believe this is the good and acceptable will of God. We also pray for her partner to stop arguing and quarreling and for smoking. Father, we know that faith is believing God and His Word. The faith that you have imparted in us believes your word in Psalm 127:3, Lo, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. That your word does not return to you empty and that your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Guide them and provide for them every step of the way, we pray, believing Jesus' name, Amen.
Now, let's turn to a Psalm for reassurance. Psalm 127:1-5, Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for He gives sleep to His beloved. Lo, children are a heritage of Yahweh, the fruit of the womb is His reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They will not be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.
Lastly, one final note regarding your prayer. We must remember that our requests should align with God's will, and we must be willing to accept His will for our lives. Our faith that believes God, His Word and the Will of God and faith that was imparted to us through the Holy Spirit. James 4:13-17 WEB, Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow let's go into this city, and spend a year there, trade, and make a profit." Whereas you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? It is a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes. For you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live, and do this or that." But now you glory in your boastings. All such boasting is evil. To him therefore who knows to do good, and does not do it, to him it is sin. We should pray as Jesus (Yeshua) did in Luke 22:42 WEB saying, "Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me. Nevertheless, not My will, but Yours, be done."
Bless you, and keep trusting in our Lord Yeshua, Jesus Christ. He is our rock and salvation.
