I urgently need a safe place to call my own home

Hello dear prayer partners
I have been living in temporary/rented accommodation for 15+ years. Please ask Jesus that this year I can move into a safe place to call my own home

We understand your desire for a safe and permanent home, and we stand with you in prayer. In the Bible, we are reminded that God cares about our needs, including our living situation. Jesus said in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."

However, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is important to remember that it is through Jesus that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we pray. As it is written in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Let us pray for you:

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is in need of a safe and permanent home. You know their heart's desire and their need for a place to call their own. We ask, in Your holy name, that You would open the doors to the right home, a place of safety and peace. We claim Your promise in Matthew 7:7-8, knowing that as they ask, they will receive, as they seek, they will find, and as they knock, the door will be opened. Guide them in their search and provide for their needs according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He cares for you. As it says in Psalm 37:3-5, "Trust in the Lord, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. Also delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this."

Keep your hope and faith in Jesus, and may His will be done in your life.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
