I Try To Understand The Prayer Requests Before Or As I Pray

I try to understand a prayer request before I pray for the prayer request. Sometimes I just can not make sense out of the request, so I can not pray for them at all. Sometimes I can understand a little and if I think my prayer and reasoning can help I do. Some prayer requests are so simple and straight forward, that I get it and I pray instantly for them.

For example. Not too long ago there was a prayer request by a woman claiming to have brought legal action against a man she was living with keeping him from coming near her. It was his place she was living in and so he could not return to his home. It was not her home. Then she was praying that she gets to live in his place and he has to stay away from his home till she can get her act together and work at her new job and get enough money to move because she was shocked he went and got legal papers to make her move from their place. They were not married. I tried to wrap my head around this problem to see where I could pray that would help her see that she was home squatting and should have not been there at all.

Then there is the straight forward prayer, they lost their job and need another job. I get it and I appreciate their sharing their problem and wanting prayer backup. So anyone taking the time reading this, please make your prayer requests easier for us to pray for you. On the name of Jesus, help us help you. Amen
