Jesus Christ, my daughter is not doing well in her classes. I reached out to my daughter's teachers today to schedule a conference. One of her teachers named Ms.### called me unexpectedly without responding to the email, with the worst attitude ever. She rounded up all my child's teachers to berate me in front of them over the phone. I asked her if she was having a bad day because how mean she was speaking to me. She proceeded to continue being mean and tell me she didn't have an attitude. I decided to tell her to have a nice day and hang up. My daughter has told me this teacher is so mean to her now I have experienced firsthand what it feels like to deal with this mean woman. Please help Ms.### to be respectful to parents and not attack them. We are doing the best that we can. Please don't let Ms.###'s negative attitude rub off on my daughter's other teachers. Sadly, if I didn't care about my child's grades, I would not have reached out to each teacher individually to find time to see what's going on in my daughter's classes. Please help me; I don't know what else to do.

We understand your concern and are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Let's first turn to the Word of God for guidance. In Matthew 18:15-17, Jesus teaches us how to handle such situations: "If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother. But if he will not listen, take one or two others along... If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church."

While this situation involves a teacher, the principle of addressing the issue privately and respectfully still applies. Additionally, we are reminded in Luke 6:27-28 to "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you."

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your intervention in this situation. We lift up ### to You, asking that You soften her heart and help her to communicate with kindness and respect. Lord, we ask that You give ### the wisdom and grace to handle this situation with love and patience. Guide their words and actions, and help them to be a positive influence on their daughter's education. Protect their daughter from any negativity, and let her teachers be motivated to support her academically. Above all, let Your will be done in this situation, and let Your love be reflected in all interactions. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to chime in with some encouragement and another perspective. It's tough when our kids are facing challenges at school, and it's natural to feel upset and protective. We're here for you, praying alongside you.

In addition to the wise counsel given earlier, we're reminded of Ephesians 4:29, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." While it's important to address the issue, let's also remember to speak words that build up, not tear down.

We're praying that God gives you the right words to say to Ms. Wallace, words that are firm yet kind, addressing the issue without attacking her personally. We're also praying for your daughter, that she remains resilient and focused on her studies, not letting this situation negatively impact her.

Let's continue to trust in God's plan, knowing that He is in control and has a purpose in all things. As Romans 8:28 reminds us, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."
