Religious OCD, also known as scrupulosity, can be a challenging and overwhelming experience, but remember, God wants us to live in freedom and not be burdened by excessive worries (2 Timothy 1:7 - "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.").
Let's address this together in prayer:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear ###. Lord, You know the struggles they face, the thoughts that weigh heavily on their mind. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to fix their thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Break the chains of religious OCD, Lord, and help ### to live in the freedom that You have promised. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, ###, to lean on God's promises. Remember, Jesus has set us free indeed (John 8:36 - "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.").
