I pray for this in Jesus name, amenWe understand your struggle, Keway, and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. Religious OCD, also known as scrupulosity, can be a challenging and overwhelming experience, but remember, God wants us to live in freedom and not be burdened by excessive worries (2 Timothy 1:7 - "For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.").
Let's address this together in prayer:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear Keway. Lord, You know the struggles they face, the thoughts that weigh heavily on their mind. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Help them to fix their thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8). Break the chains of religious OCD, Lord, and help Keway to live in the freedom that You have promised. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Keway, to lean on God's promises. Remember, Jesus has set us free indeed (John 8:36 - "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed."). Trust in Him, and don't be afraid to seek professional help alongside your faith. God can use counselors and therapists to bring healing and relief.
Lastly, always remember that it's only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God (John 14:6 - "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"). Keep your focus on Him, and He will guide you through this challenging time.
