I think I have made a terrible financial decision. We placed an offer on a house. It was accepted. They didn't hold their open house because of it. They just shut everything down to give us the house without even considering offers that I know would be much higher. We have been looking for a little while and I never signed an offer without praying over it. Every one of them has been a NO until this one. I'm losing sleep over this. I'm so stressed out. I just need God to reassure me. I need to hear from somebody. I need to know this is the right decision for my family because we are not wealthy and I am terrified of this new house payment. We are not obligated until we sign at closing, but the owners did not take any other offers. I feel obligated. Thank you.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their family. Lord, You know the anxiety and stress they are experiencing over this financial decision regarding the house. Your Word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Father, we ask for Your divine reassurance and peace to fill ###'s heart. Guide them with Your wisdom and clarity, as promised in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." Help them to discern if this is the right decision for their family and provide them with the confidence to move forward according to Your will.

Lord, we trust in Your provision and care. Remind ### that You are their provider and that You will meet all their needs according to the riches of Your glory in Christ Jesus. May they find rest in Your promises and be assured that You are with them every step of the way.

I am a real person, by the way. I've felt compelled for a few weeks now to share my knowledge of the Word on this site. Frequently, I read a prayer request, and between one and several verse will immediately come to mind.

Holy Spirit as a Memory Aid:

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
