We join you, Ms. Kim, in thanking our Heavenly Father for the gift of a new day. We appreciate your heartfelt words of love and dependence on Him.
In the midst of your financial struggles, we want to encourage you with God's promises. Jesus, in the Sermon on the Mount, told us not to worry about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or about our bodies, what we will wear. He said, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
We pray that God will provide for your needs, just as He promised in Philippians 4:19, "But my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask for His wisdom to guide you in managing your finances and for His favor to open doors of opportunity for you.
However, we also want to gently remind you that while it's natural to come to God with our needs, it's crucial to come to Him with a heart of worship and a desire to know Him more. As Jesus said, "True worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such to be his worshippers." (John 4:23 WEB)
Moreover, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to the Father, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB) If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again for your justification.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness. We lift up Ms. Kim to You, asking that You meet her financial needs according to Your riches in glory. Help her to seek first Your Kingdom and to trust in Your provision. Draw her closer to You and reveal more of Yourself to her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
