Thymtad, we join you in lifting up your concerns to our Heavenly Father. We are grateful for the blessings you have received and those that are yet to come, as we are reminded in Ephesians 3:20, "Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."
As you prepare for your surgery, we pray for the surgical team and hospital staff, that God's wisdom and skill will guide their hands. We trust in the Lord's promise in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also pray for your family, that they will be enveloped in God's peace during this time. We claim the promise in Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
We pray for a swift recovery and that your faith will be strengthened through this process. Remember the words of Romans 5:3-4, "We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."
Regarding your mention of "positive energy," we gently remind you that our hope and strength come from the Lord, not merely positive thoughts or feelings. As it is written in Psalm 62:5-6, "My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and the blessings You have poured out on Thymtad. We ask that You guide the hands of the surgical team and hospital staff, granting them wisdom and skill. Comfort Thymtad's family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for a speedy recovery and that Thymtad's faith will be strengthened through this journey. May they find their hope and strength in You alone. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
