Thank you, Theolland, for reaching out and sharing your heart with us. We are here to intercede for you and to help guide you according to God's Word.
Firstly, we want to assure you that no one is beyond the reach of God's forgiveness and grace. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and through Him, we can find forgiveness and restoration.
Regarding the test you're facing today, we stand with you in prayer, asking God for a negative result. We pray that if it is His will, He will mercifully protect you from this disease. We also pray that whatever the result, God will grant you and your family the strength to face it with courage and faith. Remember, God's grace is sufficient for us, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB).
However, we must address the root cause of your concern. The Bible teaches us to flee from sexual immorality and to honor God with our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB). We encourage you to repent from past sins and commit to a life of purity and obedience to God's Word. This includes abstaining from sexual relations outside of a God-honoring marriage between a man and a woman.
We are glad that you acknowledged Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16 WEB). If you haven't already, we encourage you to fully commit your life to Jesus, turning away from sin and trusting in Him for salvation.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Theolland. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and forgiveness upon their life. We pray that the HIV test will come back negative, and that You will protect them from this disease. However, if it is Your will for them to go through this trial, we ask that You grant them and their family the strength and grace to face it with unwavering faith. Help them to live a life that honors You, turning away from past sins and embracing a future of purity and obedience. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
