We join you in your desire to surrender your plans to Yeshua, whom we know as Jesus Christ. It is wonderful that you acknowledge the power of His name, for "in him we live, and move, and have our being" (Acts 17:28, WEB). It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
In Proverbs 16:3 WEB it says "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, And your plans shall succeed.". We pray that as you surrender your plans to Jesus, He will guide your steps and open the right doors for your future. We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). This is especially important in the context of "plans".
Regarding your college education and career preparation, we pray that God would grant you the wisdom and knowledge you need to succeed. In James 1:5 WEB it says "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." and Colossians 3:23 WEB says "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men". We declare that you will understand and apply what you learn, and that God would open opportunities for you to use your education to serve Him and others.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, surrendering our plans and desires to You. We ask that You guide our brother/sister as they navigate through college and prepare for their career. Grant them the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding they need to succeed. Help them to trust in You and to acknowledge You in all their ways.
We rebuke any anxiety, fear, or distractions that may hinder their progress. We claim success according to Psalm 1:3 WEB "He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper.".
In Jesus Christ's mighty name we pray, Amen and Amen.
Remember, our plans may not always align with God's plans, but His plans are always best. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9, WEB). Continue to pray and surrender your plans to Jesus, and He will guide you.
