We stand with you in prayer, Rowena05, as you lift up your family to the Lord. It is beautiful to see your trust in God's perfect plan and unending love. Let us together pray and offer guidance based on God's Word.
Firstly, It is commendable that you have mentioned that this prayer is in Jesus' name, for it is only by His name that we have access to God. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. This salvation is simply faith in Jesus Christ alone, calling on Him as Lord and Savior. As further explanation, you must believe that Jesus Christ is who He claimed to be, God in the flesh, and that He died and was resurrected for your sins to give you eternal life. Surrendering completely to Him as your Lord and Savior is becoming part of God's family. Christ is the only door to Heaven and only because of the fact he is the Son Of God. This salvation brings the Holy Sprit and with Him the ability to have prayers answered and faith for this world and the next.
Let us address the 'remind him of Your unwavering love and purpose for his life.' God's love is unconditional (John 3.16 WEB), but it is necessary to repent of sins in order to have a 'purpose in life' as Christians. The ultimate purpose is to be made holy, become blameless. As Peter tells us in Acts 2:38-39 WEB it is necessary to repent of sin and be baptized if this has not been done. Fulfilling God's plan will result in tremendous blessings in this life and the next.
God has a perfect plan for your loved ones.
Let us first pray your Father takes all the family member's responsibility's serious, and leads all members of their respective families according to biblical principles:
Lord, we thank You for Rowena05's family. We lift up her youngest son to You, Lord. Embrace him with Your love and grace, and enlighten his heart and mind as he navigates his struggles and identity. Strengthen him against the temptations of the world, and remind him of Your unwavering love and purpose for his life. Let this be an opportunity for him to put off the desires of the flesh and walk by the Spirit. And those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. Let there not be Galatians 5:19-21 WEB the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God. Bbut the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Help Him to make wise choices that 'honor God bring peace to his soul' Let his purpose remain pure and holy.
We pray for the eldest son and the youngest son, Lord. Surround them with Your divine protection and grant them wisdom and discernment in all that they do. Help them to be strong and courageous in You. Do not be a man of two minds, a double-minded man is unstable always. Preserve him with the teaching of your word. Let him grow up in your commands. When you are young, you get up in the morning and think to yourself how you look to others, and how they look to you. But 'true beauty is from within, as a gentle and quiet spirit toward God' as stated in 1 Peter 3:4 WEB. Keep their minds and way pure. As instructed in Proverbs 4:25-27 WEB guard our heart and mind from 'keeping our feet from evil.' Do not let our motives or intentions be compromised. But if you can 'trust in the Lord' he will make your paths, our paths straight. It is so important for our minds to be on You and Your word. As in Proverbs 3:5-7 WEB, Especially trust in the Lord with all your heart do not lean on your own understanding WEB. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes retain the fear of the Lord and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh a refreshment to your bones. We want our family to live the way Christ would desire. Lord, we ask You to order a madam that chooses to align themselves with biblical teachings.
Jesus makes it clear the importance of avoiding bad relationships. It is clear in 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 WEB that 'you need to make sure one does not become 'unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness What communion has light with darkness And what agreement does Christ have with Belial For what partnership has a believer with an unbeliever And what agreement does a temple of God have with idols Therefore come out from her and be separate says the Lord and do not touch what is unclean and I will receive you and will be a Father to you and you shall be my sons and daughters says the Lord Almighty.' In accordance with Your will in Your word, We need to make sure future relationships align with biblical principles. It is important to remain pure and holy before our either relationship begins. Sex is forbidden before or outside marriage. It is fornication and possibly adultery. But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evil doer or as a meddler in other men's matters. If one suffers he is a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in his name. Therefore let them who suffer according to the will of God in doing good entrust their souls to him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator 1 Peter 4:15-1 WEB. They should remain holy before entering an appropriate courtship, dating with the goal of marrying and finally dating for the opportunity to get married, as Christians pledged to marry for a lifetime.
For the husband, Lord, we ask for Your covering. Keep him away from temptations, and grant him clarity to see the love and support we have for him as a family. As the head of the family, help him to lead with wisdom and love. Touch his body and ease the physical pains he is experiencing. Bless him with good health and a renewed spirit. But Your good health may be just as important. It must be a priority to only seek food, drinks, and medicines that produce good health, true pleasure and relaxation. He should not make up excuses for doing otherwise. Alcohol for example only in tiny sips with a purpose. Otherwise, it will turn into a form of idolatry. We can only have true pleasure from what is pure and truth. Our spouse is the only God-ordained object of lust. To not keep our eyes and mind pure, we should not be responsible to ask for your touch until we do. As stated by Christ, whoever looks at a woman to desire will have already committed adultery with her in his heart. And if your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away from you. It is more profitable for you that one of your members should perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. Matthew 5:28-29 WEB.Help him to be the spiritual leader You have called him to be.
Lastly, Father, we pray for their helper. Comfort her heart as she feels the sadness of being away from her children. Grant her strength and resilience, and surround her with Your peace and assurance. Let her know that her sacrifices are seen and valued. Lord, we ask that You guard every corner of Rowena05's house with Your mighty presence. Let no harm, evil, or negative force enter. Place a hedge of protection around their family and their dwelling, and cover them with the precious blood of Jesus. Rebuke all forms of darkness, malice, and evil intentions that may seek to disrupt the peace of their home. Let their house be a sanctuary of Your love, filled with joy, harmony, and faith. Bless every person who enters, and let Your light shine brightly in this place. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto in all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. Lord, we surrender Rowena05's family to You, trusting in Your perfect plan and unending love. We ask too, that if you are not saved to call on Christ in obedience right now, and you will be born again. If anyone is in Christ they are a new creation. This would be the best possible situation for the family. Also trust Him to provide a hedge of protection along with the Holy Spirit who gives strength. May He empower each one to pray in the spirit in a way they have not done before.
Lastly, we add that it is so easy to take prayer and Christ for granted until we see his power. We should ask Him for something today and just watch Him act, even for something simple for lunch. We first though first must become holy in all ways. As we do this, we will see more of God's will for our lives, and He will act on our prayers more substantially.
As all of Christ's prayer were answered with a 'yes.' All sincere prayers with a clean hands and heart will be answered. Keep in mind we may not recognize the answer we are given right away.
