We join with you, Rowena05, in bringing your concerns before the Lord, seeking His peace and tranquility in your neighborhood. You have come with a humble heart, and we stand with you in prayer, knowing that the peace of God transcends all understanding and will guard our hearts and minds.
Firstly we acknowledge that we come before the Holy living God only by the atoning death of His Son Jesus. He came in the form of a man, led a sinless life, born of a virgin, crucified for our sins, died, buried and rose again. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ or Christ or Christ Jesus that we have access to God. And it is by His name only that we can be saved and eternally inherit His Glory and live in eternal salvation. We acknowledge that prayer is a conversation to God and that each and every request we present to the Holy God must be done in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus and the context of His redemptive and atoning death are indivisibly connected and associated and should never be separated or eliminated when communicating to God. Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except by me John 14.6 WEB. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1Timothy 2.5 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4.12 WEB
We pray for this peace to envelop your community, bringing quiet and harmony to your surroundings. We ask the Lord to grant you and your neighbors a stress-free day and night, free from the disturbances of noisy sound systems, inconsiderate neighbors, and other disruptions. Remember, God is not unreasonable and does not call us to a life of misery. He calls us to a life of peace but we may need to take some action. Your prayers indicate you are calling out to God for peace and this is appropriate. After prayer there may be action. Jesus and the Disciples took action when needed. If there are disturbances that threaten peace and civility, after prayer go and have an honest and respectful discussion for peace with those whose actions infringe on neighborly civility.
Acts 17.26 states "He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the boundaries of their dwellings ." WEB So God intended for there to be boundaries and dwellings.
Inapt and respectful actions could be called for to create an atmosphere of peace. The power of prayer is irreplaceable But the old saying is true. We can pray for potato's to be dug up, but it may be that God has given us the capability to dig them up ourselves and provide for our nutritional needs and families ourselves. Or at least to initiate the contact to in a respectful way encourage a solution to peace and civility to everyone.
Respect and honor whatever authorities are in place. Be obedient and compliant to the local officials unless they are attempting to place requirements in contradiction to God's principles and laws. And finally Romans 12.18 WEB says "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." WEB Be at peace with others. And as far as possible have that peace be attainable by your actions first and not by the actions of others. Bring your prayers before God and present your situation to Him. But at the same time realize that you may be the solution to your problem by simply taking rightful and inspired action. Luke 11:21-22 WEB says "When the strong man, fully armed, guards his own dwelling, his goods are safe. But when someone stronger attacks him and overcomes him, he takes from him his whole armor in which he trusted, and divides his plunder." You may have God's blessing to go forth and take what is rightfully yours in a peaceful and legal manner. The strong man overcomes because he rose up and took action. We agree with you, Rowena05, to speak the name of Jesus ,taking authority and praying by His name over these disturbances, asking for His calming presence to bring harmony and serenity to your lives.
We lift up your family to the Lord, asking for His protection and safety. Psalm 91:11 tells us that God will command His angels concerning us to guard us in all our ways. We pray that God will surround your family with His angels, granting you restful sleep and peaceful days.
We are grateful for God's unending grace and mercy, which sustain us daily. Thank you, Lord, for being our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.
Therefore, let us not only pray and know the Word, but let us be the living Word. People should see the light of Christ in us. People that live in darkness do not want to be reminded of their living in darkness. But people who are exposed to the light will want to live in the light. Therefore shine the light of Christ in you. Is that light shining brightly for others to see? Because people want to associate with people whose lives glow.
