Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude, acknowledging Your mighty works in our lives. As it is written in Psalm 92:10, "But my horn You have exalted like that of a wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil." Lord, You have made us strong and blessed us with happiness. You have anointed us with fresh oil for Your service, and we are grateful for Your abundant grace and favor.

The greater the calling on a person's life the greater the testing. In other words the more that God has planned for you to do the more difficulty that he allows you to go through. Why because God wants you to have a strong enough character to support the weight of your calling.

It doesn't do God any good if he elevates you to a position of influence and then you end up falling and taking other people down with you. And we could see this principle taught all throughout the Bible from Abraham to Joseph to Moses to David.
