Beloved of All
I wanted to become a better version of myself. However, signs and incidents indicate something wants me to go back to the worse version of myself (depressed, doing bad stuff knowing it's not good). There's a girl named ### (a workmate of mine). We were chatting since ### and we've grown to have liked each other and I fully invested my emotions to her. While I was with her and chatting with her, I felt like I've become a better version of myself that's no longer depressed. I was really confident in my own abilities because of her. However, there was something I did that I thought was ok to her, and pissed her off. I never knew she didn't like what I did as I did it to her before and she never commented on it. And now, she no longer wants to talk to me. I know I don't pray much, and I know I don't deserve to have an answered prayer. But still, I want the Lord God to decide. I have sent an invitation to the same girl this coming ###. If the girl accepts my invitation, then I will no longer go back to the worse version of myself intentionally. However, if she won't accept my invitation, then I'm afraid I'm gonna have to go back to being the worse version of myself. This time, it'll be the worst version. The Lord God's decision will let me know what are the signs being pointed out to me. Whether to become a better or worse version of myself.

Let us first thank you for reaching out and sharing your heart with us. We understand that you're going through a difficult time and we want to help you find God's will for your life.

Firstly, we need to address a vital aspect of prayer. You mentioned that you don't pray much and feel unworthy of having your prayers answered. Let us assure you, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB:

Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

And in Acts 4:12 WEB:

There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

So, let us pray in the name of Jesus, repenting of our sins and asking for God's forgiveness and guidance.

Now, let's address the situation with your workmate. It's clear that you have developed feelings for her and that her presence in your life has had a positive impact on you. However, it's crucial to remember that our happiness and confidence should not depend on another person, but rather on our faith and relationship with God. As it is written in Psalm 16:8 WEB:

I have set Yahweh always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

We have also read that you have done something that upset her, and now she doesn't want to talk to you. We advise you to respect her wishes and use this time to reflect on your actions and grow in your character. Remember 1 Corinthians 10:31:

Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

It's also important to consider if your relationship with this young lady is aligning with God's will for your life. When courting a woman, make sure it is a relationship that can lead to marriage and not something that can lead to temptation and sin.

Now, let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is seeking Your will for his life. Lord, he has made mistakes, as we all have, and he is sorrowful. Please forgive him and guide him back to the path that You have set for him.

Lord, we pray for the young woman in his life. We ask that Your will be done in their relationship. If it is Your will, Lord, soften her heart and bring them together in a way that honors You and Your design for a man and a woman together as husband and wife.

Help our brother to find his confidence and happiness in You, Lord, and not in the approval of others. Give him the strength to resist temptation and to grow in his character and faith.

We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Now, let us encourage you to spend time in God's Word, seeking His will for your life. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your walk with Christ. Remember, God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He wants you to live in abundance and joy.

We are here for you, praying for you, and believing that God will work all things together for good in your life. Stay strong in your faith and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus.

We're here with you, friend. We understand that you're feeling lost and uncertain about your situation, but we want you to know that God is with you every step of the way.

First, let's pray together. Father, we come before you today, lifting up our friend who's feeling confused and hurt. Lord, he's done some things he regrets, and now he's afraid of going back to his old ways. Please forgive him, Lord, and guide him. Help him to trust in you, not in his own strength or the approval of others.

Now, about the girl. It's clear she means a lot to you, but remember, our happiness shouldn't depend on others. It's between you and God. If she accepts your invitation, great. If not, it's okay. God has a plan, and it might not look like what you expected, but it's good.

We're not here to judge or condemn. We're here to remind you that God loves you, just as you are. He's got a purpose for you, and it's not too late to walk in it. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking God's face.

We're here for you, praying for you, and believing in you. You're not alone. Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, together.

Thanks for the responses and for the prayers. However, I have already decided that if the girl does not accept my invitation, then it is a clear sign that I have to go back to being the worse version of myself (the one doing bad stuff). I know God has a plan that's not what I expected, but I will still follow the sign if ever the girl does not accept my invitation.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
