I saw a homeless man today that I would like to request prayers for. I saw the homeless man standing with two well-kept men were talking with him on the sidewalk. I think they were trying to intervene and help him. What struck me as particularly sad was the way the homeless man was standing. He was hanging his head and shoulders so extremely low I have never seen such an extreme stance of shame. He looked so broken with his head hanging down, his dirty clothes, and his unkempt hair. And one of the men who was there helping him had a slight look of contempt on his face, which I doubt helped the way the man felt about himself. I pray that Jesus will bring this homeless man a miracle of healing, I pray that he will be transformed by the love of God and that he will know that he is a beloved child of God. I pray that he will know that to God the physical circumstances of this life do not define his worth. I pray that he will comforted by the angels and that he will be visited with miracle exorcism by the Lord Jesus so that he is free from whatever is binding him in such shame. Please pray for this homeless man with me. He lives in Olympia, WA.
