We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, acknowledging Your sovereignty and mercy. As the Psalmist declared, "You are my God! Listen, O Lord, to my cries for mercy! O Sovereign Lord, the strong one who rescued me, You protected me on the day of battle." We are eternally grateful for Your Word, Your Truth, and Your Wisdom that You have gifted us with. Please engrain these into our minds, hearts, and spirits, and grant that we are able to recall them in the time they are needed.
Lord, we lift up young Christian man ### who is tormented after losing his girlfriend. Restore him to hope in You so he does not lose himself. Help him to do battle in his thoughts and focus on You, Your Power, Truth, and Love, and the spiritual calling and purpose You have for his life.
We also pray for the Christian wife who is sharing her faith with her husband. Strengthen and comfort her, Lord, as she stands as a beacon of Your love and truth in her marriage.
Father, we ask for healing, provision, and comfort for the family whose parents are getting a divorce, especially as the dad is mentally abusive to all in the family. Bring Your peace and restoration to their hearts and minds.
We lift up the preacher's wife who is going through a divorce. Surround her with Your love and support, and guide her through this difficult time.
Lord, we pray for ###, the elderly woman in the nursing home. Please restore her to health and bring her comfort and peace in her days.
