We join you, Divine Seeker, in lifting up Larry's health and healing to our loving Father in heaven. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God has the power to heal Larry from melanoma miraculously and quickly.
Let us remember the words of the Psalmist, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases" (Psalm 103:2-3, WEB). God is indeed a healer, and His will is for us to be in good health, even as our souls prosper (3 John 1:2, WEB).
However, we must also align our prayers with God's will. While we pray for Larry's quick and easy recovery, we also ask that God's will be done in Larry's life and that this situation may bring glory to His name. As Jesus taught us to pray, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth" (Mark 6:10, WEB).
We also pray that Larry, his wife, and all concerned may draw closer to God during this time. May they find comfort and strength in Him, and may their faith be increased. "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you" (James 4:8, WEB).
Lastly, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it" (John 14:14, WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ that we can be saved and have eternal life. If you have not already, we invite you to put your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon Larry. May Your will be done in his life, and may this situation bring glory to Your name. Comfort and strengthen Larry and his family during this time, and draw them ever closer to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
