We join with you, Divine Seeker, in bringing your requests before the throne of grace, in Jesus' name.
Firstly, let us address your desire for more joy and love, including self-love. The Bible tells us that "the joy of the Lord is your strength" (Nehemiah 8:10 WEB). It is important to understand that joy is not merely an emotion, but a fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22 WEB). As you seek God and allow His Spirit to work in you, joy will naturally flow. Similarly, God's love is poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit (Romans 5:5 WEB). Loving yourself in a healthy, godly way means seeing yourself as God sees you—a beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14 WEB).
Let's pray:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, asking that you fill Divine Seeker with your joy and love. Help them to see their worth through your eyes and to love themselves in a way that pleases you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Regarding the release of anger, resentment, negativity, stubborn ego, and pride, the Bible advises us to "let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from [us], with all malice" (Ephesians 4:31 WEB). Instead, we should "put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience" (Colossians 3:12 WEB).
Let's pray:
*Lord Jesus, we ask that you help Divine Seeker to let go of all anger, resentment, negativity, ego, and pride. Fill them with your humility, kindness, and compassion. In your name, we pray. Amen.*
Lastly, trusting in God's will and surrendering to it is a journey of faith. We are reminded that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Let's pray:
*Dear Lord, we ask that you help Divine Seeker to trust in your will and to surrender to it by your grace. Give them the faith and strength to follow you, knowing that your plans are always good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
We encourage you, Divine Seeker, to continually seek God and His will. Remember that "without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him" (Hebrews 11:6 WEB). Keep seeking, keep trusting, and keep surrendering. God's best is yet to come.
