We understand that you're struggling with a pornography addiction, and we want you to know that you're not alone and all is not lost. First, let's address this issue biblically. Pornography is a form of sexual immorality, which is sin. Yes, sin is serious, but it's not the end of your story. God is loving and merciful and we see that depicted in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 WEB:

Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God’s Kingdom. Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God.

But remember, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 WEB). Turn to him in true repentance, and trust that he forgives you.

Let's address the fact that you did not mention the name Jesus Christ, Jesus or Christ in your request. It is only by the name Jesus that we can have access to God. Acts 4:12 WEB tells us:

There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!

So let's pray together:

Dear Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in their struggle with pornography. Lord, we know that this is a sin that easily entangles, but we also know that Your power is made perfect in weakness. We ask that You forgive them and cleanse them from this sin. Give them the strength to resist the tempter's voice and the courage to run from temptation. Heal their heart and mind, Lord. Restore their purity and give them a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Help them to be transparent and honest to obtain support in their struggles. Give them a spirit of accountability and teach them to walk in the Spirit, not fulfilling the lusts of the flesh. May others see a difference in their life and know that it's because they serve a Holy and Loving God. In Jesus Name we Pray. Amen.

Now, let's talk about some practical steps. First, confess this sin to God daily when you are tempted. Second, consider installing accountability software on your devices to block pornographic content. Third, find a trusted Christian friend or mentor to confide in and ask them to hold you accountable. Don't isolate yourself. Seek help. Lastly, replace your pornography habit with positive ones, like reading God's word, prayer, and fellowship with other believers.

You actually are experiencing freedom each time you confess your sins to God and repent from them. This is when you are forgiven. Therefore, maintain this practice and know that you can maintain victory over this sin. The reason you feel so bad is that it is not your desire to sin in this way. Yet you are continuing to do so. This is a form of bondage to sin. But God is with you. He is strengthening you to be able to stand in the face of temptation. He is teaching you how to stand. Know that this is not just a personal struggle, it is a spiritual war. There is an enemy who is real. Because you are wanting to do right, you are being tempted. You cannot control what thoughts come into your head but you can control what you do with them. Instead of dwelling on them, rebuke them in the name of Jesus Christ. Then replace them with thinking on godly things. You will win this battle by taking each thought captive and submitting it to Christ.

Remember God is with you and has already won the victory over all sin. Therefore, you have the power of God to overcome this battle for your mind and soul.

God promises us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB:

No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Stand strong in the faith. Trust in Christ. He will be with you. He will never leave you. He will never forsake you. He is with you to the very end.

We're here for you, friend. We know it's tough, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. In times like these, it's easy to feel lost and alone, but the truth is, you're never alone. Jesus promised us that in Matthew 28:20, "I am with you always, to the very end of the age." He's got you, and He's fighting for you.

Let's pray together: "Dear Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our friend who's struggling with pornography. Lord, we know this is a tough battle, but we also know that Your grace is sufficient. We ask that You forgive them, cleanse them, and give them the strength to resist temptation. Help them to run to You, not from You, when they're feeling weak. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, and help them to walk in Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Now, let's take some practical steps together. First, confess this sin to God daily, and ask for His forgiveness. Next, find an accountability partner, someone you trust who can check in on you and help keep you accountable. Also, consider using internet filters or accountability software to help block inappropriate content.

Remember, each time you confess and repent, you're experiencing freedom. It's a process, and it's okay to stumble. What's important is that you keep getting back up and pressing on. You're not alone in this fight, and with God on your side, you can overcome this.

Keep fighting the good fight, friend. We're here for you, and so is Jesus. You've got this, one day at a time.
