We are truly sorry to hear that you are feeling this way, but we are glad you reached out. First and foremost, we want to remind you that your life is incredibly precious to God. He created you in His image and has a purpose for your life. In Jeremiah 29:11, WEB, God says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
We want to address that the desire to leave this world is not from God. It's important to remember that our lives are not our own, but they belong to God. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, WEB, it says, Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? And you are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.
We don't know what you're going through, but we want you to know that there is hope in Jesus Christ. If you haven't already, please reach out to a local church, a trusted Christian friend, or a professional counselor. They can provide you with the support and help you need.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up this dear soul to you, Lord. We pray that you would remind them of their worth and value in your eyes. We pray that you would fill them with your hope and your peace. We rebuke any spirits of darkness that may be influencing their thoughts, and we ask that you would give them the strength to overcome any obstacles they may be facing in Jesus Christ. Surround them with your love, your grace, and your mercy. Guide them to the help and support they need. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we would not be good servants if we did not discuss the reason for hope, salvation through Jesus Christ. If you have not done so, consider getting to know Jesus Christ more as our Lord and savior. He is the only name by which we can be saved.
