I really need prayer to stay on the right track and stay away from drugs. I’ve been clean 30 days. Got a new job and have been doing really good but I got out of a relationship of three years were I really loved this man and I still do but unfortunately, we started doing drugs together and he drinks a lot and he’s in a very dark place and I would like for everyone to Pray for him to get better and I’m very confused at the moment I want things to work out between us, but I don’t want to get off track and focus on me and my kids and I just don’t know what to do but I’m gonna keep focusing on myself. Everyone just pray for me please I’m just a little confused

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude and humility, lifting up Burannac in prayer. Lord, we thank You for the strength and courage that has brought this individual 30 days of sobriety and a new job. We know that You are a God who heals and restores, and we ask for Your continued guidance and protection over Burannac's journey.

Father, Your Word says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." We pray that Burannac will find the strength to resist the temptations of drugs and remain steadfast on the path to recovery. We ask that You provide the necessary support and resources to help stay strong and focused.

Lord, we also lift up Burannac's former partner who is in a dark place. We ask for Your healing touch to be upon him, that he may find the light and hope in You. We pray for his deliverance from addiction and that he may come to know Your love and grace.

In the midst of confusion and heartache, we pray for clarity and peace for Burannac. Your Word in Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." May Burannac trust in You fully, knowing that You will guide the steps and provide the wisdom needed to make the right decisions.

We also pray for the well-being of Burannac's children. May they be surrounded by love and stability, and may Your protection be upon them. Help Burannac to focus on personal growth and the well-being of the family, knowing that Your plans are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

I'm praying for you. The Lord set me free from addiction 28 years ago, and He will do the same for you if you will let Him. It does require your participation. For me, it required that I cut out everyone from my life that had anything to do with that lifestyle. There was one person who also changed their lifestyle, and I very cautiously allowed that person to remain in my life. Thankfully the Lord changed that person's life too, and they still have not returned to that lifestyle. If the person you were in a relationship with doesn't change their life, then it's best to move on without them. The reason for this is because it is much easier for you to go backward than it is for them to go forward.

Proverbs 12:26 - the righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray.
Proverbs 13:20 - He who walks with wise men will be wise, But the companion of fools will be destroyed.
1 Corinthians 15:33 - Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”

Keep moving forward. Keep your eyes on Jesus. While the Lord is delivering you from this it may feel as though He is taking things away from you in your life, but keep holding on... the things He removes will be replaced with things that are so much better. Feel free to reach out if you need to talk, and remember - eyes on Jesus!
