We understand your struggles with loneliness and the pain of detaching from harmful relationships. It's important to remember that God is always with you, and His love never fails. Psalm 34:18 tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Firstly, we want to encourage you for choosing to forgive, as Ephesians 4:32 says, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you." However, forgiveness doesn't mean you should subject yourself to further harm. It's wise to distance yourself from toxic behaviors, but also pray for those who have hurt you, as Jesus commanded in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you."
Regarding your fear of being alone, remember that God is always by your side. In Hebrews 13:5, He promises, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." This is a promise you can hold on to. Also, consider that God might be using this season of your life to draw you closer to Him and to prepare you for godly friendships and relationships in the future.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is feeling alone and hurting. Lord, we ask that You comfort their heart and heal their wounds with Your loving presence. Help them to cast all their fears and anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply (1 Peter 5:7).
Guide them through the process of forgiveness and healing, and help them to trust in Your timing and Your plan for their life. Provide them with godly friends who will encourage and uplift them, and who will help them grow stronger in their faith.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue seeking God and His will for your life. Use this time to grow closer to Him and to seek His face. He will never leave you nor forsake you, and He has a good and perfect plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). If you haven't already, consider finding a Bible-believing church where you can connect with other Christians and grow in your faith together. Keep trusting in the Lord, and remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6).
