We are truly saddened to hear that you are feeling this way, but we are grateful that you have reached out to share your feelings with us. First and foremost, we want to remind you that your life is precious and that God has a purpose for you. In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, God says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
In this moment of despair, it's crucial to remember that God is always with you, even in your darkest hours. In Psalm 34:18 WEB, we are told, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Even when you feel alone, God is right there with you, ready to comfort and guide you. It is never God's will for someone to die before they have a chance to believe in Jesus Christ and be saved. Even though your prayer did not mention Jesus by name, it is only by His name that we have access to God the Father.
We also want to address the tone of your message. It's important to remember that God is not the cause of your pain or the reason you are feeling this way. In times of trouble, it's common to feel frustrated or angry, but we must remember that God is our source of hope and strength. As it says in Psalm 46:1 WEB, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Instead of giving up, we encourage you to cast your burdens on God. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, we are told, Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. Take a moment to pour out your heart to God, telling Him exactly how you feel and asking Him for the help and guidance you need. Just call on the name of Jesus and believe in Him. If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:9-10 WE.
Please know that you are not alone in this struggle. We are here praying for you, and there are many others who care about you and want to support you. If you are feeling suicidal, it's essential to reach out to a mental health professional or a trusted friend or family member immediately. There is no shame in seeking help, and it's a sign of strength to recognize when you need support.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We lift up this precious soul to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their life. Lord, we know that You see their pain and hear their cries for help. We pray that You would surround them with Your love and comfort, reminding them that they are not alone.
Lord, we ask that You would give them the strength to cast their burdens on You, trusting that You care for them and want what's best for them. Help them to see that their life has purpose and meaning, and that You have a plan for their future.
We also pray that You would guide them to the help they need, whether it's through a mental health professional, a trusted friend or family member, or a support group. Lord, we ask that You would give them the courage to reach out and seek the support they need.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would fill them with Your peace, knowing that You are always with them, even in their darkest hours. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
