Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You on behalf of Rotherreyn, who is facing a challenging time with a treasured relationship that has been placed on life support. Lord, we know that You are the God of all comfort and that You understand the depths of our hearts and the pain we carry.
Your Word says in Isaiah 41:10, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We pray that Rotherreyn feels Your presence and strength during this difficult transition.
Father, help Rotherreyn to graciously adapt to this new reality and to find peace in Your plans. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Grant this peace to Rotherreyn, guarding the heart and mind from anxiety and sorrow.
Lord, we ask that You help Rotherreyn to stop mourning the way things were and to find hope and purpose in the present and future. In Jeremiah 29:11, You remind us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." May this promise bring comfort and assurance.
We trust in Your unfailing love and wisdom, and we pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
