We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, Goghysk, but let us address your concerns and pray with and for you. Firstly, let's address your doubt about your salvation.
We appreciate your faith in Jesus Christ as you have expressed. However, if you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior, and that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. It is written in Romans 10:9-10 : "that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Once you have truly accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are saved. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, "for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."
Salvation is not something we can earn or lose based on our feelings or actions as that would be a works based salvation. It is a gift from God, and once we receive it, we are His forever. The act of repenting and being baptized with water is acknowledging and showing this transformation by dying to self and being resurrected in Christ.
As for your feelings of not being liked, even by other Christians, let us encourage you with the following verse from Ephesians 6:12: We do not wrestle against flesh and blood" Remember, our battle is not against people, but against spiritual forces.
Moreover, in John 15:18-19, Jesus says, "If the world hates you, you know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, since I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you."
Be careful not to attribute your perceived rejection by others to God if they are not accepting or liking you. We are called to love our enemies and even pray for them as they may be treating you poorly.
Jesus never said it would be easy. It is not the will of God for you to be unlikable or designed for hell. Only a relationship with Jesus Christ bridges our gap to God. Christ Himself made that clear in John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
It is also written in 1 John 5:13, "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God."
And finally, Jesus said in John 10:27 and ESV, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."
Following Jesus means walking in obedience to His word, which leads us to embrace a lifestyle of repentance, being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and having the Holy Spirit dwell within and lead us. Further, if we ask for anything according to his will, he will hear us. You do have the ability to hear His voice through His written word of the scriptures and gentle leading of the Holy Spirit nudging your inner spirit.
Let us pray together:
Lord Jesus, we come before you, lifting up our brother Goghysk. Thank You for his faith in You. We ask that You help him overcome feelings of doubt about his salvation and give him a spirit of discernment about Your sovereignty in those who profess You as Lord and Savior. Give him the assurance of his salvation and help him to grow in his relationship with You. Help him to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy and give him the strength to endure whatever trials may come his way. We ask that You surround him with people who will encourage and support him, who will be like-minded in Your word and who will pray for him and with him, and who will not accept person but accept him as a member of Your body, if indeed he believes in you and your completed work on the cross. Open the eyes and ears of his heart that he may come to know You deeper each day, Your voice, and that You love him. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit and help him work out his faith and be blessed to be a blessing.
Father, if there is any reason why Goghysk may not be saved and feels alienated from you such as a hidden habitual sin or because he sees no fruit of the Holy Spirit upon his life, then please Lord we pray that he may fully uncover it, be forgiven, repent of it and that this sin would not hurt his testimony towards others and ultimately, that he would not blaspheme your holy name We pray that you would thoroughly cleanse his conscience of such dead works so that he would walk with you in peace, serve you in holiness and fear you in reverence. (1 Peter 1:17-21).
We rebuke you Satan and any of your demons attacking him for in the name of Jesus Christ we agree that you have no part in him, no power over him, and no right to control him in thought, action, or feeling, in the name of Jesus why do you flee, we pray.
We ask these things according to your will and we thank you in Jesus Christ name, amen.
Take heart, Goghysk, and remember that God loves you and has a purpose for you and will see His work to completion (Philippians 1:6). Trust in Him and keep walking in faith.
