I prayer to end a toxic relationship ...

Thread Cover Image
I prayer to end a toxic relationship where I tried my best for years to pray for their addiction and assisted in so many ways. I realize now that it is going no where and I need to move on. I feel saddened that the person refuses to break free. I ask for prayer that they move on and I am able to concentrate on myself and build back me in Jesus name. Thanks in advance

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### in prayer. Lord, ### has been in a toxic relationship for years, praying and assisting tirelessly for the other person's freedom from addiction. Despite these efforts, the situation remains unchanged, and ### now realizes the need to move on.

Father, we ask for Your strength and guidance for ### during this difficult time. Help ### to find peace and the courage to focus on personal healing and growth. We pray for the other person as well, that they may find the strength to break free from their addiction and move forward in their own journey.

Lord, Your Word says in Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." We claim this promise for ###, trusting that You will provide the strength and support needed to rebuild and find joy once again.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
