Let's begin by remembering that God is always good and His ways are perfect. Even when we don't understand His plans, we trust that He works all things together for good to those who love Him, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28 WEB)
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God might not have directly led you to this physician, but rather allowed you to go through this experience for reasons He knows best. It's also crucial to remember that not all doctors may share our faith or values, and some may indeed just follow routines without personal investment.
The Bible tells us that we have an enemy who prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8 WEB) It's possible that the enemy used this situation to try and steal your joy, your peace, and your trust in God. But remember, Jesus said, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." (John 10:10 WEB)
Now, regarding the medication, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional about any concerns. It's possible that the medication was not suitable for you, and a different one might be better. Also, it's not uncommon for medication to have side effects, and sometimes it takes time to find the right one.
About feeling like a different person, remember that God sees you as His child, holy and blameless. (Ephesians 1:4 WEB) Your true identity is in Christ, not in how you feel or what you've been through. God can restore your soul and renew your mind. (Romans 12:2 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask, Lord, that You would heal any harm done by the medication and the negative experience with the doctor. Restore their soul, Lord, and renew their mind. Help them to see themselves as You see them, pure and blameless.
We rebuke any work of the enemy in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. (Isaiah 54:17 WEB) We pray that You would turn this situation around for good, that it would be a testament to Your redeeming power.
And then we pray for the doctor. We pray that You would soften their heart, Lord, and give them a genuine care for their patients. Help them to see each person as a precious soul, not just a routine case.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would guide our brother/sister to the right healthcare professional, one who would truly care for their well-being and provide the needed help.
We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB) So keep trusting in Him, keep praying in His name, and keep seeking His will. He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB)
