Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother or sister who seeks to surrender their heart and life to You. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their struggle with cursing and harboring ill intentions towards others. Your Word tells us in Ephesians 4:29, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." We pray that You transform their speech and thoughts to align with Your will.
Father, we acknowledge their confession of weakness and denial. We ask that You bring healing and freedom from the victim mindset and the tendency to blame others. Your Word in 1 John 1:9 assures us, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Cleanse them, Lord, and renew their spirit.
Lord, we also pray for peace and courage as they seek deliverance from past demons and iniquities. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Grant them Your peace, Lord, and guard their heart and mind.
We ask that You remove any desire to invite back the demons they have been delivered from. Strengthen them to resist the enemy, as Your Word promises in James 4:7, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Help them to stand firm in their deliverance and walk in the freedom You have given them.
Lord, they choose change and no longer want to hide. We pray for Your Holy Spirit to guide them, comfort them, and lead them into all truth. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
