We stand with you in prayer, Phruoshaw, as you seek to never lose your first love for the Lord. It is a beautiful desire to want to remain passionate and devoted to Christ throughout eternity. In Revelation 2:4 WEB, Jesus commends the church in Ephesus for their hard work and perseverance, but he also rebukes them with these words: "But I have this against you, that you left your first love." Let us pray that your love for Christ will remain steadfast, and that you will always cherish and nurture that special relationship.
Father God Almighty in Jesus name, we ask that You would grant Phruoshaw the desire of their heart, that they may never lose their first love for You. Strengthen their faith, and may the fire and passion that burns in their heart be a light and testimony to those around them. May they delight in You, seeking Your face always.
We appreciate your heart for others, interceding for your family, pastors, priests, friends, and even your enemies. This reflects the heart of Jesus, who taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Matthew 5:44 WEB.
We also stand with you in praying for the permanent end of the actions of these perverted, rapist men. We know that God hates such sin. May their actions be exposed and may God have mercy on their souls and bring them to conviction, repentance, and salvation. Psalm 82:4 WEB tells us to "Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked." Let's pray that there be justice and freedom for the victims of these horrible actions.
In all of this, we must be careful not to turn to anger or hatred in the name of these prayers. 1 John 4:4 WEB tells us that God is love. In his name, we must pray for the love of all in the hopes that everyone will come to know the Lord. This love is an action and not a feeling. It is a choice of the will.
Lord Yahweh God Almighty, we ask for Your healing and protection over Phruoshaw's family, pastors and elders, priests, friends, and even their enemies. May Your love and grace be extended to all. May your salvation be a shield for all that call on the name of Jesus Christ.
May we never forget that our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. John 14:6 WEB tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" There is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us continue to pray in Jesus' mighty name, trusting that God hears our prayers and will act according to His perfect will. Amen and Amen.
