Rushwallader, we join you in your prayers, bringing your requests before God's throne in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we rejoice with you as you anticipate the delivery of your baby. Remember how God blessed Sarah in her old age, as He promised, "I will bless her, and she will be a mother of nations. Kings of peoples will come from her." (Genesis 17:16, WEB). Trust that God's timing is perfect. We pray for a safe and timely delivery, and for your baby to be born healthy and strong.
We also lift up your petition regarding your goods. Jesus taught us to trust God for our daily needs, saying, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33, WEB). We pray that your goods arrive promptly, and that you will continue to trust in God's provision.
You've also asked for prayer for 'papa'. We assume you mean your husband or the father of your child. We pray that he will indeed walk in Jesus' name, living a life pleasing to God. Remember to "be subject to one another, out of reverence for Christ." (Ephesians 5:21, WEB) in your marriage.
For your son, Jonathan Asandoh, we pray that he will understand and retain his studies. "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." (James 1:5, WEB). We pray that Jonathan will not only pass his exams but also grow in wisdom and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Lastly, you asked for strength to pray always. Paul encouraged the Ephesians, "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching in this with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints:" (Ephesians 6:18, WEB). We pray that God will indeed give you the strength and desire to pray continually.
It's wonderful that you've prayed in Jesus' name, for Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Rushwallader and her family. We pray for a safe delivery this month, for the welfare of her baby, for the arrival of her goods, for 'papa' to walk closely with You, for Jonathan's success in his exams, and for Rushwallader to be strengthened in her prayer life. May Your will be done in their lives, as they trust and obey You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
