We join you, Phruoshaw, in your heartfelt prayers, and we commend you for your desire to do the right thing and for interceding on behalf of others. It is wonderful to pray for our teachers, pastors, and even our enemies, as Jesus commanded us to do.
Firstly, let us remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
So, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your guidance and strength to always do what is right and pleasing in Your sight. We lift up Phruoshaw's teachers, pastors, priests, nuns, congregation, family, friends, and even their enemies, asking that You would bless them, guide them, and draw them closer to You.
We agree in prayer that Phruoshaw will complete their studies at South University of Savanna, and that Your will be done in their life. We also claim the promise of 1 John 1:9 WEB:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Thank You, Father, for the precious blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all sin.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
However, we must also address that praying to anyone other than God through the name of Jesus is not biblical. Prayers offered to Mary, angels, or other saints are not in line with God's Word. As a group, we pray only to God through the name of Jesus, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us keep our focus on Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith.
