We understand your heart's desire for healing and reconciliation, but we want to ensure that our prayers and advice align with biblical principles. Firstly, we notice that you've used the term "partner." We believe that God's design for romantic relationships is for them to be between a man and a woman within the covenant of marriage, as outlined in the Bible. We encourage you to seek God's will in your relationship and to pursue a godly marriage if that is His plan for you both.
We also want to address that the power in our prayers comes from the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Therefore, we will pray in Jesus' name.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing and guidance in this situation. We pray that You mend this heart that is broken and bring comfort and peace that only You can provide. Lord, if this relationship is in accordance with Your will, we ask that You give them the tools to reconcile, to move on from the past, and to grow stronger together in You. Guide them with Your wisdom, and help them to seek You first in all things. We pray this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Keep praying and seeking God's face, and He will guide you in His perfect will.
