We join you, Phruoshaw, in your fervent prayer to never be an abomination, and we stand with you in Jesus Christ's mighty name. It is commendable that you are seeking to live a life pleasing to God and that you are interceding for both your loved ones and your enemies.
Firstly, let us address the concern about being an abomination. In the World English Bible, the term "abomination" is often used to describe practices and behaviors that are detestable to God. For example, Proverbs 6:16-19 WEB states, "There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."
To ensure that we are not an abomination, we must strive to live in accordance with God's will. This includes embracing righteousness, speaking the truth, promoting peace, and loving others as Christ loved us. As it is written in John 15:12 WEB, "This is my commandment, that you love one another, even as I have loved you."
It is wonderful that you are praying for your enemies. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, as seen in Matthew 5:44 WEB, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". This not only reflects the heart of Christ but also demonstrates a deep understanding of God's grace and mercy.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Phruoshaw and their loved ones. We pray that You will guide them in Your paths of righteousness and help them to live lives that are pleasing to You. Help them to be vessels in your Hands to heal and bless those around them. Help them to be conformed to the image of your Son, Jesus.
Lord, we also pray for their enemies. We ask that You would soften their hearts and draw them to Yourself. Help Phruoshaw to forgive and love them as You have loved us.
In Jesus Christ's mighty name, we pray. Amen and Amen.
Continue to walk in faith, Phruoshaw, knowing that God hears your prayers and is faithful to His promises. Keep your faith in Jesus Christ.
