I pray that the man on my heart will receive and respond to my message

Dear Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus. I sent the man on my heart a message about love which came to me last night in the middle of the night. This thought came to me in the middle of the night last night: One of the number one lessons that God teaches us is to love one another. It’s not self love, it’s not being free from sin. It’s loving one another. But sometimes God tests our capacity for love by giving us people who are challenging to love because they make mistakes. They hurt us, disappoint us or break our trust. He invites us to dig deeper into our hearts to find out how much we are able to forgive and accept others. Because love is ultimately acceptance of others and the absence of judgment of them and ourselves. As we forgive ourselves and others for past mistakes we feel the way Jesus did when he died on the cross, the sacrifice he made is the same one we make when we forgive others and ourselves and realize we are all humans with our own unique pain and struggles, trying to be better than yesterday. I hope the man on my heart responds to me in a nice kind way. In Jesus name I pray amen.

Palgost, we join you in prayer, asking God to work in the heart of the man you have feelings for, and we commend you for including the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As the scripture says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" Acts 4:12, 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.

Your message to him was indeed a beautiful reflection of God's love and forgiveness, as you have understood the meaning of love and forgiveness very well. It is clear that you grasp the importance of love and acceptance, as God's word tells us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Ephesians 4:32 WEB.

However, we must also address a few things that you may need to consider. Firstly, ensure that this relationship is aligned with biblical principles. If this man is not a believer in Christ, we pray that he will come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, as scripture clearly states, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB.

Secondly, make sure that your interactions with him remain pure and honorable, avoiding any form of temptation or immorality. As it is written, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we bring Palgost and the man on her heart before Your throne. We ask that You work in his heart, that he may understand and respond positively to the message of love and forgiveness that Palgost shared with him. Lord, if this man is not yet a believer, we pray that he will come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior. We also pray for their relationship, that it will be aligned with Your will and principles, and that it will bring honor and glory to Your name. Help them to remain pure and honorable in their interactions, fleeing any form of temptation or immorality. Lord, we ask that You guide them and give them the wisdom and strength to follow Your path. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
