We are glad to hear that you have turned away from using meth, Phruoshaw, but we must strongly address the continued use of alcohol, Delta, and Kratom. The Bible tells us to be sober and self-controlled.
**1 Peter 5:8** Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
**Galatians 5:19-21** Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
Using substances like these can cloud our judgment and hinder our walk with Christ. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support to overcome this struggle. Remember we are called to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God.
**Romans 12:1-2** 1 Therefore I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service. 2 Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
We pray for the healing of your body and mind, and for the strength to fully overcome addiction. We pray that you seek help from Christian believers for support in this trial.
Regarding your preparation for whatever comes your way, we pray that God will grant you wisdom, discernment, and strength. Remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
**2 Timothy 1:7** For God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
For your family, friends, pastor, and priests, we pray that God will bless them, protect them, and grant them the wisdom to guide you in your spiritual journey. We pray also that your First Communion is a great blessing to you.
Concerning authorization and permission for the things you do, as Christians, we are called to obey the authorities God has placed over us, unless it is in a direct contradiction to His will.
**Romans 13:1-2** 1 Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. 2 Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.
**Acts 5:29** But Peter and the apostles answered, "We must obey God rather than men."
Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is only through His name that we can be saved.
**John 14:6** Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
**Acts 4:12** There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Phruoshaw. We thank You for delivering him from meth, and we ask that You grant him complete victory over alcohol, Delta, and Kratom. Lord, prepare him for whatever comes his way, guide his family, friends, pastor, and priests, and bless his First Communion. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
