I pray that I trust only in the Lord

I pray that I take the temptation away and only trust in the Lord that I will detox right and pass my tests Monday with no problem and get the job that I so badly need. Please. I really need this job and was seriously thinking about doing a wish or job spell to secure it and I feel and hear God telling me just to trust in Him. Please let this be right. Please let it work out. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!

It is encouraging to see that you mention praying in Jesus' name, acknowledging the power and authority that comes through His name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Firstly, we commend you for your desire to trust in the Lord and turn away from temptations like wish spells or job spells. The Bible is clear that we should not engage in any form of divination, sorcery, or witchcraft. As Deuteronomy 18:10-13 (WEB) warns, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a witch, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." Instead, put your trust in God, who cares for you and has a good plan for your life.

Let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ###. Lord, strengthen their faith and help them trust solely in You. Remove any temptation that may lead them astray, and guide them in Your righteous path. Lord, You know ###'s needs, their upcoming tests, and their desire for a job. We ask that You grant them wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to pass their tests. Open the right doors for employment, according to Your will. Provide for their needs, as You promise in Philippians 4:19 (WEB), 'My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.' Help ### fix their eyes on You, trusting that Your plans are good, pleasing, and perfect. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Be encouraged by the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Continue to trust in God, and He will direct your steps. Stay strong in faith and resist the temptation to engage in any unbiblical practices. God is faithful and will provide for you according to His will and timing.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
