We understand your aspirations, Sharon, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life.
Firstly, we pray for your academic pursuits. Proverbs 16:3 WEB says, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." We pray that you will commit your studies to the Lord, and that He will grant you the wisdom and perseverance to complete your Bachelor's Degree in Business Computing. We agree with you that by God's grace and through the power of Jesus Christ, you will graduate in January 2025.
Regarding your career, we pray that God will open the right doors for you. Colossians 3:23 WEB tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." We pray that God will provide you with a highly respected and well-paying job, not just for the sake of wealth, but so that you can be a light for Him in your workplace. We pray that you will find a job that aligns with His will for your life.
As for moving out, we understand your desire for independence. However, we must remember the importance of honoring our parents, as commanded in the fifth commandment (Exodus 20:12 WEB). We pray that God will guide your steps and provide you with your own place when the time is right, in a way that honors your family and Him.
We noticed that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We believe that it is through His name that we have access to God, as Acts 4:12 WEB tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that our prayers are heard.
Father, we lift up Sharon to you. We pray that she will graduate, find a job, and move out in a way that honors You. We pray these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In all things, Sharon, trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB). He has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He will direct your steps.
