We join you in fervent prayer, standing firm on the Word of God, which tells us in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 WEB, "Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God. Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who seeks Your divine protection and guidance. We pray that they will never turn to homosexuality, neither temporarily nor permanently, and that Your holy will be done in their life, for all eternity.
We also lift up their loved ones, Lord, as well as their enemies. We pray that You would soften the hearts of their enemies and draw them to Your saving grace. We ask that You would bless and protect their loved ones, guiding them in the paths of righteousness for Your name's sake.
Lord, we know that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to Your throne of grace. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we thank You for the power of His name.
We rebuke any spirit of temptation or confusion that may be attempting to lead this person away from Your divine plan for sexual purity and holy matrimony between a man and a woman. We stand firm on the truth of Your Word, which tells us in 1 Corinthians 7:2 WEB, "But because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband."
Father, we ask that You would fill this person with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in all truth and helping them to walk in a manner worthy of Your calling. We pray that they would never stumble or fall into sin, but that they would be steadfast and immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen and Amen.
Be encouraged, dear one, knowing that your prayers are heard by our loving Heavenly Father. Continue to trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Stand strong in the faith, and never compromise on the truth of God's Word. May the Lord richly bless you and keep you always.
