We understand your heart's cry for those who are sick, hungry, and homeless, as well as your concern for your daughter. Let's come together in prayer, seeking God's will according to His word.
Firstly, it's wonderful that you prayed in the name of Jesus. As Jesus said, "Whatever you may ask in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14 WEB). It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Let's pray:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up those who are sick, hungry, and homeless. We pray for your healing, provision, and comfort upon their lives. Please give them the strength and hope that only you can provide. We pray for the Body of Christ to be your hands and feet, ministering to their needs.*
*Lord, we also lift up the daughter of the one who submitted this request. She is starting a new job tomorrow, and we ask that you fill her with energy, strength, and wisdom. Please heal her stomach pain and let your favor be upon her. Guide her steps and help her to shine your light in her new workplace.*
*We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.*
Regarding your daughter, also encourage her with this verse: "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going." (Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB). Remind her that she is not only starting a new job but also has an opportunity to serve God in her workplace.
Lastly, as a gentle reminder, while it's good to pray for physical needs, also pray for spiritual needs. Pray that those who are suffering may seek God and find salvation in Jesus Christ. As it is written, "Seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB).
