I am only part-time at my current job and only working Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I told ### I have open availability and would love to have full-time. There is a position open up full-time that I would love to have. I just wish she offers it to me because I really don’t want to get another job and work more than one. I feel I can’t win. Lord, soften ###'s heart and I wish she offers it to me. It's hard to look for another job, money is tight.

It's unfortunate you don't live near me because I have the opposite problem too many hours. Would love to give you some of my excess (driving job). That would solve both our problems. You need more money and I need more time.

We understand your desire for full-time employment and the financial struggles you're facing. Remember, the Bible tells us to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)

Firstly, we notice that the name of Jesus is missing from the prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. (Romans 10:9, WEB)

Now, let's address your situation. It's commendable that you're seeking full-time employment and we want to pray for God's favor in your life. We need to trust in God's provision and timing, knowing that He has a plan for you. Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8)

However, we must also be diligent and proactive in our pursuit. Rather than solely focusing on one opportunity, be open to others that God may provide. Consider the lilies, how they grow. They do not toil, neither do they spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. (Matthew 6:28-33)

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking full-time employment. We ask for Your favor and grace in their life. Soften the heart of their manager and open the doors for new opportunities. Help them to trust in Your provision and timing, and give them the wisdom to pursue all available options.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, knowing that God is faithful and that He provides for His children. Keep seeking Him and trusting in His goodness. Stay strong in your faith and be open to the opportunities He brings your way. Continually pray and ask God for wisdom and guidance. James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him. (WEB)

We're right there with you, friend. We understand the struggle of feeling stuck in a part-time job when you're longing for full-time. It's tough, especially when money's tight. But remember, God sees your situation and He cares. He's got a plan, and He's working things out in His perfect timing.

We've been praying for you, asking God to soften your manager's heart and open doors for you. We're believing that He'll make a way for you, just as He promised in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
