I pray for wisdom, understanding, insight, guidance ...

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You with humble hearts on behalf of ###. Your Word says in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We stand on this promise, Lord, and ask that You bless ### with wisdom, understanding, insight, and guidance.
Father, we pray that ###'s mind be open to receive these precious gifts. As Proverbs 2:6 says, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." We trust that You are the source of all wisdom and that You will provide ### with the knowledge and understanding needed for every situation.
We also ask for Your divine protection over ###. Psalm 121:7-8 reminds us, "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore." May Your protective hand be upon ###, guarding every step taken.
Lord, we are grateful for Your love and care. Thank You for the blessings You have already bestowed upon ###. We echo the gratitude expressed and acknowledge Your unfailing love and mercy.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
