We join you, Karanac, in praying for your father's protection and well-being. Let us come together in agreement, for as it is written in Ecclesiastes 4:12, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken."
Firstly, we thank God for His mercy, which triumphs over judgment, as James 2:13 tells us. We pray that God's mercy will indeed prevail in your father's life, and that any attacks against him will be rendered powerless, for "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for your father's repentance, as you have requested. We ask God to grant him the spirit of repentance and a heart that seeks after Him. As Ezekiel 18:30-32 tells us, "Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, everyone according to his ways, says the Lord Yahweh. Return, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity will not be your ruin. Cast away from you all your transgressions, in which you have transgressed; and make yourself a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies, says the Lord Yahweh. Therefore turn yourselves, and live."
Let us pray:
"Father God, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Karanac's father to You. We ask for Your divine protection over his life, that no weapon formed against him will prosper. We thank You for Your mercy, Lord, and ask that it would triumph over judgment in his life. We also pray for his repentance, that You would grant him a heart that seeks after You and desires to turn away from any wrongdoing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Karanac, to continue praying fervently for your father, trusting that God hears your prayers and will act according to His will. As James 5:16 reminds us, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much."
