We understand your concern for your mother and join you in lifting her up in prayer. It's important to align our prayers with God's will and trust in His timing and provision.
Firstly, we want to ensure that your prayer is made in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the mother of the one who has submitted this request. We ask that You would provide for her according to Your will and in Your timing. If it is Your will that she finds employment in Durban, we pray that You would open that door and grant her favor. Give her peace and patience as she waits on You. Help her to trust in You, knowing that You care for her and have a plan for her life.
We also pray that You would guide her steps and direct her path. May she seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen." (Matthew 6:33 WEB)
Remember, God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Trust in Him, and encourage your mother to do the same.
If your mother is not yet a believer in Jesus Christ, we encourage you to share the good news of the Gospel with her. It is only through faith in Jesus that we can be saved and have a right relationship with God (Romans 10:9-10, 13 WEB).
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB)
May God bless you and your mother. Keep praying and trusting in Him.
