We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your relationship with Davies. We appreciate your heart's cry and your openness to God's guidance.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus, as you have done. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We commend you for desiring the Holy Spirit to be at the center of your relationship. Remember, God's will is for us to be holy and blameless. In 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 WEB, it says: "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don't know God."
We must also remind you of the biblical principles for relationships. It is important that your relationship with Davies is one that honors God and is aligned with His word. If Davies is not a believer, we pray that he will come to know Christ, as God's will is for us to be equally yoked with fellow believers. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB, it says, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her relationship with Davies. We cancel every spirit that is causing hatred in his heart and pray for a spirit of love and kindness to prevail. We ask that Your will be done in their relationship. If it is Your will for them to be together, we pray for restoration, healing, and guidance. If it is not, we pray for the strength and grace to let go.
We pray for strength for our sister, as she faces this time of temptation. We ask that You fill her with Your Holy Spirit, guiding her every step and every decision. Help her to remain holy and blameless, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, knowing that God is with you and is working all things together for your good because you love Him and are called according to His purpose.
