Disciple of Prayer
I pray for help from God and Jesus because my mom's family won't help me because they say I'm strong, so they don't need to help me. I am working 40 from home and taking care of my mother 24/7 with a severe mental illness and she will not take medication and refuses to go to a doctor. She says wake for days on end and doesn't sleep and talks to the voices in her head 90 miles an hour, she talks to the furnace, Hepa air clears, fans, she talks into the toilet and like to sit on the bathroom floor in the dark with the door closed. I am afraid to leave the house and sometimes I have to go out sometimes. The hospital will not take her and I reached out to several social workers; they come to the house and mom will not speak to them. They say get her to a doctor. She won't go, that's why I'm asking them to help. The hospital says they can't force anyone to take anti-psychotic meds and it's not illegal to be mentally ill. Mom is not with it enough to even know she needs the meds. Memory care said they can take on a locked wing for $10,000 a month, but they won't force her to take meds. I don't even have $10,000 a month and I've been told they just drain her account and take her house and car then. When she has no money left, then put her in a horrible state facility on Medicaid. I don't know what to do. I refuse to put my mom anywhere but at the same time, I'm not that strong. I need help. I am all and my mother's family won't help me; they left all on me. It's hard not to have hate and bitterness in my heart right now.

We understand the immense burden you're carrying, and we want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical guidance during this challenging time.

Firstly, let's address the strength that your family sees in you. It's true that God often gives us the strength to bear our burdens, but He also calls us to cast our cares upon Him. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your cares on him, for he cares about you." It's not a sign of weakness to seek help, but rather a sign of wisdom.

Regarding your mother's mental health, it's important to remember that God cares for her deeply. Psalm 147:3 tells us that "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We pray that God will touch her mind and bring healing. We also pray for wisdom for you and the professionals involved in her care, that you may find a way to help her despite the challenges.

It's also crucial to address the resentment you mentioned. Ephesians 4:31-32 tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." We encourage you to forgive your family for not helping as you'd hope, and to remember that God is your ultimate helper.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their mother. Lord, they are in a difficult situation, feeling overwhelmed and unsupported. Please be their strength and shield. Touch their mother's mind, Lord. Bring healing and guide them to the right care.

Lord Jesus, you said in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." We claim this promise for ###. Provide them with the rest and help they need. Soften their family's hearts, Lord, that they may step in to help.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. It's important to remember that Jesus is our mediator with God, and it's through His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" We encourage you to call upon His name in your time of need.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father we gather and come Into agreement in the powerful and beautiful name of Jesus. Where two or more are gathered you'll be in the midst of us and anything we agree upon as touching you will surely do. The Bible says if there is any unforgiveness it should be dealt with before...
