We are with you, Forgiven by God, in lifting up all those who are enduring very tough times. It is in these moments of trial that we can find comfort and strength in the Lord. As the Scripture says, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB).
In our prayers, we ask God to have mercy on us all. His mercy is abundant and unfailing, as we are reminded, "But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)" (Ephesians 2:4-5 WEB).
We also pray specifically for the preservation of life and for strength to avoid self-harm. God desires that we live in the fullness of life He offers through Jesus Christ. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up all those who are going through very tough times. God, have mercy on us all. Comfort us in our distress and give us the strength to endure. We pray for the preservation of life and for the strength to not hurt ourselves any more. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen."
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord's face and trust in His promises. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18 WEB). Through Christ, we have access to His grace and mercy. Let us cling to Him and His word, knowing that He is faithful and will see us through.
