In Jesus' Name.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother ### ### to you. Lord, we acknowledge that he is currently struggling with addiction and is lost in the grip of drugs. We pray, Lord, that you would intervene in his life and bring him back to us.
Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17-18, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We claim this promise for ###, knowing that you are near to him in his brokenness.
We ask, Lord, that you would break the chains of addiction that are holding ### captive. Set him free, Lord, from the power of drugs and restore him to a life of wholeness and purpose. Surround him with your love and grace, and bring people into his life who can support and guide him towards the help he needs.
We also pray for his family, who are deeply concerned for him. Comfort them, Lord, and give them strength as they walk alongside ### in this difficult journey. Help them to trust in your faithfulness and to continue to pray and intercede on his behalf.
Lord, we know that you are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We believe that you can bring about a miraculous transformation in ###'s life. We ask for your mercy and grace to be poured out upon him, leading him to repentance and a renewed relationship with you.
In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are able to do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. Amen.
